Enclosed Trailers Basics
Framing
Our enclosed trailers’ are fabricated with 1″ X 1.5″ tubing for solid wall construction. The undercarriage is offered in two configurations: lightweight (for hauling desert toys such as quads, sandrails, and motorcycles), or heavy duty (for hauling automobiles).There are two configuration options for an enclosed trailer:
Lightweight configuration
- best for fuel economy by towing less weight
- the value and quality of the lightweight configuration is durable with extreme weather conditions
- will protect your valuables inside from dangerous circumstances
Heavy duty configuration
- stronger plywood floor
- frame provides more support for hauling automobiles, tools, or equipment
- the heavy duty configuration floor comes with two heavy duty axles that have sturdier spindles and brakes
Enclosed Trailer Specifications
Most customers choose from our standard line of enclosed trailers and add options to meet their requirements. But to make some of those decisions, you may need to know the basic dimensions. The standard interior height of our enclosed trailer is 6’6”, but options for taller heights are available. Below is a length, width, and weight option chart.

We offer a variety of lengths and widths customized to your intended usage. Please see our configuration chart for exact OD and ID measurements.
Standard Features: Every trailer will include the following:
- slight pitched roof for the center to the sides for water run-off
- innovative punched nose to provide and extra 8’’ of interior room at the wheel level
- standard 30’’ side door
- vent
- HD axle
Siding:
- for the exterior, we use smooth aluminum sides for easy cleanup and waxing
- the aluminum is bonded to a ⅛’’ wood siding
- siding has vinyl coating on the inside, this complements the white finish of the aluminum siding on the outside
Once the skeleton of the trailer is complete, we work with each customer to customize the interior and details for the trailer.
